People were left in awe and admiration after a man proposed to his girlfriend at the airport in a most sweet manner. A Kenyan man pulled off a most daring but sweet proposal after he surprised his girlfriend at the airport in front of a packed crowd.
According to Nairobi News, Antony Buluma Samba had planned the proposal to Gettie Nthiiri even before she landed from an unknown destination and pulled it off.
The television producer told Nairobi News that he knew she was the woman he wanted to marry and planned a unique proposal.
“We have dated for 2 years, she had flown out for a while and I brought in a band to play as I propose to her on arrival from the undisclosed location,” Mr Buluma told Nairobi News.
Immediately Ms Nthiiri arrived to a warm reception at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, she had no clue of the big surprise that awaited her.
On emerging from the arrival terminal, she found her boyfriend with a bouquet of flowers and before she could make sense of the activities around them, he went down on one knee with a ring in hand.
And just at the right time, the band he earlier organized began playing music in the background with others waving placards with the words, “Gettie, will you marry me”.
The overwhelmed and happy woman broke down before accepting by saying ‘yes’. It was a true spectacle to behold as the attention of the whole crowd at the airport was fixed on the lovely couple. It became a day she will never forget in her life.
