“I am delighted to share with you a major milestone that Green Africa, your airline, has just achieved.
Pleased to inform you that Green Africa has now acquired its second owned aircraft, an ATR 72-600 with manufacturer’s serial number 1064 and registration mark 5N-GAO. Similar to our first acquired aircraft (5N-GAB), Access
Bank, one of the largest financial institutions in the country and across the continent, provided the naira debt facility that was used to partly finance the asset.
This is significant progress from last year when we had to temporarily pause operations before the arrival of our first owned aircraft (5N-GAB), and this milestone is only possible because of
your support of the Green Africa journey. The new addition to our fleet will help support a sustainable foundation for Green Africa to grow and deliver on its promise to provide safe , affordable and reliable service to you.
We are working swiftly to complete customary regulatory approvals, as the new aircraft is expected to enter service shortly.
Many thanks to Access Bank, for their continued belief in the Green Africa story in financing not just one, but now two aircraft to support Green Africa’s growth.
I would also like to express our profound appreciation to our regulator, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, for their unflinching support of Green Africa, without which we would not have been able to achieve this milestone in our journey.
To our dear gCustomers, thank you for choosing to fly with us. We look forward to welcoming you aboard 5N-GAC very soon, as we Continue in our mission to use the power of air travel to create a better future.
As a show of our appreciation for your continued loyalty, please look out for a token gift from us in the coming days.”
Yours in service,
Babawande Afolabi
