Dana Air delays flight for hours..

At precisely 11:05 last night, mamajsblog received a call from a dana Air passenger on flight 9j360 from Abuja to lagos, which was delayed for more than 4 hours. According to the source, he was calling whilst they were about to taxi out. He was very angry and expressed his dissatisfaction.

This morning he sent this :

“It’s flight was 9J 360 abv-los. Originally scheduled for 7.35pm then moved to 8.20pm via email. Then when the other airlines had departed they then announced that the flight will depart at 9.45pm and at 9.30pm announced that it will now depart at 10.30p. When I confronted the station manager he said the delay was due presidential movement. I ask him what time the movement took place and he said 2pm I then showed him the email that was sent at 9.55am announcing the first delay. Then I asked him if they had foreseen the presidential movement before making the announcement? He couldn’t answer. This has been the way Dana has been operating of late on Fridays. We finally arrived Lagos at 12.09am”

 

Based on this report,  mamajsblog contacted the Corporate communications manager of dana air who said it was due to operational reasons and did not explain further.
