PRESS RELEASE

“What happened today at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi was indeed worrisome. But I want to point out that the problem was a minor one and it was resolved in good time.

The motorised ramp stairs was put right and used for embarkation.

In times like this it is our collective responsibility to pray for our dear state and not point accusing fingers at anyone. In any case FAAN and not Bauchi State Government is responsible for the maintenance and management of the airport.

Ultimately, we are working to build Nigeria’s number one tourism destination in Bauchi, and will work with all partners, including airlines to ensure all infrastructure are in place.”

Yakubu Ibn Muhammad
Special Adviser To The Governor of Bauchi State On Media
19th December 2015.

Hmmm…We have prayed too much for this country, lets start doing the needful!
