My thoughts this morning is on the everyday increasing slow motion syndrome of our time.

Slow motion (commonly abbreviated as slowmo) is an effect in film-making whereby time appears to be slowed down.. . This is often used in a game of football and other live games. Slow motion replay effects attempts to highlight key  notes if you like actions . It helps the viewer to in most cases have a better understanding of the on-going event .. .

The professionals who handle this effect has over the years improved on their technicalities in applying this effect on live TV events. Often times they key into free spaces during the live event to bring in the slow motion replays thereby ensuring that viewers don’t get to miss any part of the action. This balanced thin line of presentation has continually made the application of slow motion effects relevant  and of great essence to viewers.

In the late nineties, our very dear Nigerian television authority otherwise known as NTA being the major network and authorized under the then monopolistic arrangement broadcaster of live sport events especially football had attempted to thrill her viewers with slow motion replay effects, but on most events, they goofed because they would always end up depriving viewers key segment of the game . I recalled on one occasion during a live crucial football game involving Nigeria and another African country viewers were deprived of the opportunity to watch us score against our opponent because NTA was busy showing her viewers a replay of a missed opportunity.
The value of this effect is of great benefits but then few factors must be accurately put in place . . it must be professionally done, timely and most not obstruct the real event. . . So also are the events of our life . . Time is of great essence . Why occupy the slow – mode avenue at a time you should be on the fast lane. There’s room for timely life reflections of yesterday’s events but dwelling on them is time wasting .
Dwelling on yesterday’s issues and failures  may cause you to lose the opportunities of today so dwelling less is key to making great progress. We must constantly seek to add value and stay salty. If our moves aren’t adding value to our lives and that of everyone , it’s worthless..

We must constantly stay relevant.
Good morning
