Xejet Aviation Ltd signs MOU with Kanem Air Nig. Ltd

 

 

……..to operate air shuttle service from Maiduguri to Kano, Abuja and Lagos.

Xejet Aviation Ltd had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kanem Air Nig. Ltd to operate air shuttle services to cities of Kano, Abuja, and Lagos, from Maiduguri.

Xejet Aviation’s CEO, Mr. Emmanuel Iza, disclosed at the ceremony that Kanem Air will provide three 50-seater Embraer 145 regional jets for the services, adding that the company would run at least six shuttle flights daily under the trade name “KANEM AIR.”

The first of three aircraft with registration mark 5N-BZM, MSN14500842 arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos at exactly 00:56, 1st July 2021 from Johannesburg,bSouth Africa where it had its major maintenance and Cabin refurbishment. The aircraft is painted in Kanem Green and White Livery.

Around to welcome the aircraft is the Managing Director of Kanem Air, Alh. Ali Gujja and his co-Directors Umar Lawan Sheriff, Maijir Moahmmed and Edeki Mojirade Mistura. Alhaji Ali is an indigene of Borno State, a well-known business tycoon, he is also into oil and gas, and civil construction. His love for his people is his Vision behind Kanem Air to connectbthe North-eastern States with other States in Nigeria.

Xejet Aviation was incorporated in 2015 as an indigenous Aviation company. The company was set up to provide Air Transport Services in the areas of Premium Passenger, Cargo, Aircraft  maintenance, and Aviation training.

The company is in the final stages for the award of Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA to engage in commercial Air Operation services.
