A Liverpool man found dead on an Amsterdam railway line was working his ‘dream job’ as a cabin crew member, friends have said.
Michael Moran’s body was found on Monday, and authorities believe he had been hit by a train.
His death is now being investigated.
Michael, believed to have been in his mid-20s, was from the Vauxhall area in Liverpool, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Friends said he had landed his ‘dream job’ working for airline Emirates.
Tributes have been posted online to the popular airline worker. One, written by a relative, said: ‘RIP to our beautiful cousin, still can’t get my head around it. Good working lad, only happens to the best people.’
And another described Michael as an ‘amazing person’.
It said: ‘Broken hearted, another life gone far too young. The memories I have with you will always live on, you always looked after me and had a heart of gold.
‘You were one of my favourite funny people and I will never forget you, you amazing person.’
