DEVELOPING –  Police closed off Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers World Airport hunting a possible suspect Tuesday after a shooting that wounded at least one person, Fox 25 reported.

A man was lying in front of a ticket counter saying he’d been shot, officials told KOCO. The shooting unfolded in a parking garage just before 1 p.m. local time, a police spokesperson told Fox News, saying there may be a second victim.

Investigators did not reveal any information about the suspected shooter. Officials halted all arriving and departing flights and urged people inside the airport to shelter in place.

Paramedics rushed the man who was shot to a hospital.

Oklahoma City police asked residents to avoid going to the airport while the incident was investigated.

As many as 8,000 travelers go through the airport daily, spokeswoman Karen Carney said.
