Ibom Air Engages Nigerian Tour Operators at NATOP Annual Conference and AGM

Over the weekend, Amaka Echetabu, Director of Airline Services at Ibom Air, engaged with members of the Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) during their National Conference and Annual General Meeting. The event was held at the Banquet Hall, G.R.A, Ilorin, Kwara State, on July 19, 2024. The Group Manager of Marketing and Communication, Mrs. Aniekan Essienette, was also in attendance. Essienette sat in a panel session tagged ‘Tourism as a catalyst for progress, peace, and partnership’.

During her address, Echetabu reiterated Ibom Air’s commitment to fostering collaborative partnerships with tour operators for mutual benefit. She emphasized the pivotal role of synergy between airlines and tour operators, highlighting that such relationships are critical for enhancing tourism potential and connectivity across Nigeria. “The relationship between airlines and tour operators cannot be overemphasized,” stated Echetabu, underscoring Ibom Air’s strategic initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of Nigeria’s tourism sector through engaging with tour operators.
