FG approves appointment, redeployment of top NAMA management staff

The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has approved the appointment and redeployment of some Directors and key officers as special assistants in the Ministry, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN and the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, NAMA.

In a circular signed for the Minister by the Director Human Resources Management, S.D Muhammad says, officers deployed to the minister’s office are to continue to draw their salaries and other entitlements from the agencies of deployment.

The circular also says that, all handling and taking over exercises be completed before the close of work on Friday 21st, 2022.

The new appointments in NAMA are as follows; Mr. Matthew Pwajok who recently retired from NAMA as Director of Operations is to act as the acting Managing Director NAMA until a substantive MD is appointed, Musa Mai- Salihu Director, Human Resources Management and Hauwa Usara as company Secretary in NAMA.

Mr Chris Najomo is appointed as the Director Air Transport Regulation in NCAA, Adamu Wakili as Director Human Resources Management, Mr Ajiboye Isiaka as Director, Airworthiness Standards and Bahagio Agio as Director, Licensing and Training Standards.

While in FAAN, Ali Maina is Director Engineering while Gold Iwinose is company secretary and legal adviser. All other directorates are retained by their previous Directors.

Seven officers from across the aviation agencies were redeployed to the ministry as special assistants to the Minister.
