Med-View Airline To Begin Flight Operations To Abidjan,Conakry,Dakar October 27

Poised to have a strong presence on the West Coast, Med-View Airline will on Friday, October 27,2017 spread its wings to Abidjan, Conakry and Dakar with an inaugural flight, abelnewsng reports.

With the three new cities, the airline now has six destinations on the West Coast as Accra, Monrovia and Freetown are already on its network.

According to the airline,the flights to the new destinations will be three times a week – Monday, Wednesday  and  Friday with early departures (7.30am) from Lagos.

The airline’s new generation aircraft -B737-800 is scheduled to service the route.

The  Med-View Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, who successfully coordinated the 2017 Hajj in which the airline airlifted over 17,000 pilgrims said, “our expansion programme is informed by research and planning.

According to Bankole,”In the very near future, we will be operating to Johannesburg, South Africa; Lisbon, Portugal; Libreville, Gabon and Houston in the US.”

He disclosed that the airline has already positioned for Dubai come November /December .

Speaking on the planned expansion of the airline, the Chief Executive officer of Centurion Security  and the General Secretary, Capt. John Ojikutu stated that the move was borne out of good  thinking and planning.

He also stated that airline does not need to have 20 airplanes before planning its commercial routes.

According to him, “This is good thinking, good planning; you don’t need 20 aircraft to start the planning of or for your commercial routes. You start with fewer traffic routes and fewer fleet to develop more routes and the fleet will grow.”
