Have you been to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lately? if you did, did you notice the darkness that pervades the roads that leads there?

Well, I drove to the International Airport this night and observed that the entire stretch of the road  that leads to the Murtala international Airport from the local terminal axis was in total darkness. The supposed checkpoint leading to the Airport Terminal  is also in darkness. Apart from the fact that this poses a security threat, it does not create a positive impression about our country, knowing fully well that Foreigners arriving into the country will pass through this same route.

Amazingly, Toyin street was well- lit. why not Airport? What an irony? The concerned authority should put this on the front Burner. Lets not forget that negative and unimaginable things happens in the dark. Of all places, the Airport should not be the place to make do without light.

In a related news, mamajsaviationblog got gist of the erratic power supply today at the International Airport which had a negative effect on Airline’s check in process.
