Shock moment passenger who missed flight repeatedly slaps airline worker with iPad

HOLIDAYMAKERS were left stunned after a woman working at an airport was repeatedly slapped around the face with an iPad after two passengers missed their flights.

CCTV footage captured the shocking moment the two men pounced on the woman, who was explaining airline policy to them.

The video shows the man armed with the iPad striking the employee, who is being shielded by a male colleague, before jumping over a barrier to get a clean shot.

He then lands two more blows to the woman’s head despite her colleague’s attempts to protect her.

The man with the tablet is then thrown to the ground by another passenger who steps in to try and stop the attack, which took place at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam.

According to reports, two men Tran Duong Tung, 32, and Dao Vinh Thuan, 37, are under investigation over the attack.

The VN Express reported that the Vietnam Airlines employee, who manages a service team, tried to explain the airline’s policy to the men after missing their flight to Ho Chi Manh City.

Tung and Thuan allegedly became agitated and started insulting staff.

In a statement, Vietnam Airlines confirmed two passengers insulted and attacked its staff and called on the authorities to investigate the incident and punish those behind the violent attack.

It said the airport worker was sent home after being checked over at a hospital.
