Ethiopian Airlines ET212 runway incursion of animal, No one hurt

Ah! not only in Nigeria!

Ethiopian Airlines aircraft ET-ANY (Bombardier Q400) while operating a domestic flight number ET 212, on the 24th of October 2016, from Dire Dawa to Addis Ababa faced runway incursion of wild animals while rolling for takeoff at Dire Dawa airport.

The aircraft aborted takeoff and all the 74 passengers and 6 crew members safely deplaned from the aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines wishes to sincerely apologize its esteemed customers for the inconvenience caused. We would also like to appreciate the operating crew for their professional handling of the incident.
