Whilst our Visa application may be refused sometimes due to unexplained reasons, but at other times. it may be due to our inability to put our application process and documents together in a neat and exhaustive manner. Read the Visa application requirements and instructions carefully
Sometimes we are either too lazy to read through instructions and requirements in a thoroughly manner, or we are just not bordered. Remember is your hard earned money and is non-refundable. Truth is, it pays to READ thoroughly, note my emphasis on the word “Read!”. It is important to know the different categories and types of Visa you are eligible to apply for. Take note of the specifications. E.g passport photograph size. Be sure of the category you fall into before proceeding to complete the forms online.  No use rushing to complete the forms without reading . Take your time.

Fill your application form properly

I must admit it can be quite tasking and time consuming completing these forms, especially doing this online. But you got nothing to lose if you put in painstaking effort to fill the forms properly. What is key here is paying attention to details. Do not leave any field blank except instructed to do so. Most Uk visa application are treated based on the information before the Visa officer and sadly. in most cases, you will not be there to explain or defend any claim or information you have filled. The more reason why you need to include every necessary detail in a precise and clear manner. Also, do not forget to use the Additional information sheet to add any extra information or clarify any information that needs clarification as this can aid the success of your application.

Put your documents together ontime

Remember any decision taken by the Visa officer will be based on the documents presented before them.

Have sufficient fund

You wouldn’t plan to go to the Uk for visit or as a tourist and not have money in your account. As at the time of putting in your application, ensure you have enough balance to cover your return ticket and enough to cover you for the period of your visit. Remember, you have to prove to the Visa officer that you can support your trip without having recourse to public funds and you intend to return back to your country at the end of your visit.

Getting a visa is not a do or die affair. Now you do not want to come across as someone who is desperate. Once the visa officer perceives you as one it may affect your application.
