“Flying has always been fun from day1. I started out from ADC Airline before I joined Virgin Nigeria as pioneer crew. It was like moving from a KIA aircraft to a Mercedes V12 turbo charged 4matic aircraft.
As a crew, we were the safety personnel on board, the security man on board, the doctor on board, the psychologist etc. A balance crew has to be multi-tasking and multi talented. Such were the trainings we had to undergo which really made the job fun.”
As a crew when did you realise you had flair for what you are doing now?
“I had always had the flair for public speaking. Being a crew was what generally helped me develop that ability to effectively interact and socialise with any group of persons irrespective of race or status. Everything i have known and learnt over the years from being a professional crew is what I am still using today as a PR professional and event compere. Safety has become a way of life for me, Courtesy dangles on my lips, attention to detail becomes my watch ward, excellent service is not negotiable, a good and friendly disposition is my default mode.”
Emma has said it all…..what can i say but to wish him the best.
From his interview isn’t it obvious that Manni can “Talk the talk”?. I have been in events anchored by him and i can attest to fact that you will definitely get value for your money if you engage him for your events. This talented multi linguist is fun to watch and listen to.
Keep at it Manni. The sky is your stepping stone.
