VIP MOVEMENT AIRPORT DRAMA

“I was on board a flight to Abuja and the drama that occurred on that flight will forever remain fresh in my memory. Lol

We boarded the flight a few minutes behind schedule and after the boarding was completed, the aircraft door was shut and the captain announced that due to VIP movement, we have to hold on for a few minutes, which we did. Unfortunately, our waiting dragged on for almost 30 minutes and after a while, the captain announced that we are set for taxi. We taxied for a while and then noticed that he stopped and after a while announced that an indicator was showing that something was wrong, so we had to go back to the terminal. That was when some passengers started grumbling.

Some few seats away from me, there was this elderly woman who was fidgeting seriously as we taxied back, the pilot announced that we all have to disembark and join the shuttle bus back to the terminal and wait for their other aircraft to convey us to Abuja.

As people started disembarking that was when the drama started. The woman that was fidgeting started screaming in her local dialect, which is the same as mine.
She said she had an embassy appointment today that she will not allow her village people to come and jeopardize this opportunity for her and that it took her son almost a year to package everything possible for the appointment.

She would jump up and scream and then land on the floor. It was a sight to behold. Even when the flight attendants tried to reassure her, she will just scream loudly that her village people have dealt with her today that despite all she did to keep the journey a secret that they still found out and followed her here.
Infact it was a hilarious situation that made a lot of us forget our appointments that we have also missed due to the delay.
At the end of the day, I didn’t travel that day after all and so I don’t know what eventually happened to the woman”

Na wah! Visa wahala. Some people can be so dramatic sha! Imagine!. What is the correlation between flight delay and “Village People” Lol…………
