Women In Aviation International Nigeria Women’s Conference 2015

 

The Women in Aviation International Nigeria Conference 2015 which started on Monday the 23rd with a seminar, workshop and Novelty Match ended today at the Renaissance Hotel in Ikeja Lagos.

The First lady of Lagos State Who was the Special guest sent a representative. The American Embassy in Lagos was also well represented.

As has been the case in the past few years, the highlight of the conference today was the Awards. Some Oustanding Women in Aviation were recognised for their immense impact and Contributions to the industry.

My very own Coach Engr (Mrs) Maureen Omotiriri Udale-Ameh got the Award for the Outstanding Female Aircraft Mechanics Award.

Other Awardees: Oluwatoyin Olajide. MD of Air Peace as 2015 Female Aviation MD.

The award for the 2015 Outstanding Female Airline Manager went to Mrs Joy Onyeadi of South African Airways.

Other Awardees: Some Young Eaglets who were outstanding in an earlier Competition. Mrs. Cecilia Oguama Outstanding Female Airport Manager. (Akure Airport). June Bells-Okpara amongst others were recipients.

The Conference was a sucess.
