Meet Our Aviator of the day-Fatoye Olaiwaye.
Who is Fatoye Olaiwaye?
“I was born into the royal family of Prince and Princess Fatoye in the early seventies. I started my early education in Lara Day Nursery and primary school at Adeniyi Jones in Ikeja. later I went to Apata Memorial High school where I graduated and attended the Lagos State polytechnic. I graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance, then started my career as a sales and marketing executive for Continental Feeders Nigeria Limited before joining Temidayo Adebayo &Co (Chartered Accountants) as an audit and accounts trainee.
Later in 2005 i joined Landover Aviation as a flight operations officer before joining the elite team of Virgin Nigeria workers. I worked in Virgin Nigeria for seven years and eventually joined Emirates Airlines where I presently work.
What do you do?
“Am a Cargo Sales Executive. I advises the management on rates and market condition through extensive research and market analysis.”
What does your job Entails?
“I promotes and encourages sales through excellent customer service delivery and assist the cargo manager in administrative and operational duties.”
What is the most challenging aspect of your Job?
“Nigeria is not much of an exporting nation, so its the challenge of dominating the few existing markets that makes the job very exciting”
